I’m Heather, the maker, mom, and mind behind the nest. For over two decades, I’ve poured my heart into creating — from handmade accessories and whimsical photo props to DIY home projects and now, a full-blown craft supply shop curated especially for fellow makers. I’ve always believed in the magic of a well-stocked ribbon drawer, the charm of tiny details, and the joy of turning a simple idea into something beautiful.
Our craft supply shop is an extension of that passion — filled with ethically sourced, handpicked supplies like ribbons, trims, resins, miniatures, florals, and vintage-inspired embellishments. Whether you’re a small shop owner, an avid crafter, or just someone who gets giddy in the glue aisle, this shop was built with you in mind. It’s a creative haven and a way for me to share my lifelong love of making with a wider community.
My husband David is my partner in all things — a skilled electrician by day and a high school football coach by night (and weekend). He’s the practical one with the toolbox and the know-how to bring my wildest ideas to life. From building displays to fixing up our space, he’s the guy behind the scenes making sure everything actually works.
Our daughter Kayla is the household strategist. She’s sharp, analytical, and has a knack for planning and organizing just about anything — from budgeting a home project to mapping out the best way to rearrange a room. She’s not into glitter and glue, but she keeps the chaos in check, and honestly, we’d be lost without her sense and structure.
Jack, our youngest, is studying film and TV production and lends his creative eye to our behind-the-scenes content. He keeps things lively, captures our projects in action, and reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously.
Our oldest son Matthew and his girlfriend Elisa stop in often — along with their mischievous cat, Clementine. They’re always up for lending a hand or joining us for family projects (or just brunch and banter).
And of course, our three dogs — Bliss, Bravo, and Charlie — are never far away. Whether they’re snoozing under the craft table or enthusiastically “supervising” photo shoots, they’re part of the story too.
